Our intention is to create a setting that cultivates relaxation, contemplation, meditation, reconnecting people with nature, simplicity and themselves. Yes, you can either
Should I expect air- conditioning and a backup generator? No, we use fans in the rooms and if the power goes out due to unplanned circumstances, we ask that you remain patient until it returns or retreat to Levuka town where you can find all of these comforts.

What are the meals like? |
Families are welcomed, but we ask that you be mindful of other guests and the dangers that exist in nature as we are by the forest and the mangrove and the ocean without safeguards. We are safeguarded by our own common sense and Kauwai is a great place to develop it - for those lacking.
